Georgie Geraghty is Executive Director at The Nature Conservancy in Illinois. Georgie joined The Nature Conservancy in 1998 after working in General Electric’s corporate business development group. Following her tenure as Community-Based Programs Director for TNC’s Colorado Chapter, Georgie joined The Field Museum as Manager of Environmental Initiatives. Georgie then spent 12 years teaching Environmental Law and International Environmental Law at Northwestern University Law School and the University of Chicago Law School. Georgie holds a B.A. in public policy from Princeton and a Master’s in Forestry from Oxford University (UK). Although she never practiced, Georgie graduated from Yale Law School. Outside of work, Georgie enjoys camping and canoeing with her family.
