Monali Shah is a Transformation Catalyst in the world of tech, social impact and personal growth. She is a strategic advisor to tech companies, public sector organizations, and nonprofits. She has 2 decades of experience in digital mapping, data analytics and AI. Through her work with Google, Monali has helped transportation agencies bring the power of AI and analytics to improve mission outcomes. She served as the Director of Intelligent Transportation at HERE Technologies and led the company's work in the areas of smart cities, automated driving, and traffic management. At Nokia and NAVTEQ, she spearheaded product innovation in several location-based products. She started off her career as an Environmental Engineer and Six Sigma Blackbelt at Avery Dennison. She has served on several boards including ITS America, DOE's Smart Mobility Board and the University of Michigan's Transportation Institute. She is also a career coach who empowers leaders to embrace transformative mindsets so they can amplify their impact and fulfillment in their careers. Additionally, she is a partner with Social Venture Partners Chicago where she invests in and coaches executive directors of community-based non-profit organizations. A University of Michigan alumna and Chicago Booth MBA, Monali is a firm believer in co-creating solutions that drive positive change, both on a societal and personal level.
