Dr. Soliman Khudeira is an Adjunct Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and currently serves as Section Chief of Major Projects with the Chicago Department of Transportation. He is the Chief Editor of the Practice Periodical on Structural Design and Construction, an ASCE Journal, and previously served as President of the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI) from 2020 to 2021. With over 35 years of engineering experience spanning both private and government sectors, Dr. Khudeira is recognized as a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI). He earned his BS, MS, and PhD in Civil Engineering-Structures from IIT, and is a licensed Structural Engineer and Professional Engineer in the state of Illinois.
