Alain Lefevre

Sustainability Strategy Director, Schneider Electric
Alain Lefevre currently serves as the Sustainability Strategy Director for the Schneider Electric (SE) Industrial Automation Global Strategy Team. In this role, Alain is responsible for incorporating the sustainability value proposition SE automation solutions bring into the group's go-to-market strategy. This includes clarifying how automation enables improved efficiency and sustainability outcomes in key industry segments and coordinating across the wider SE organization to drive consistent messaging and alignment on the topic. As a subject matter expert on efficient and sustainable manufacturing, Alain is a part-time fellow with the World Economic Forum (WEF) working on the Industry Net Zero Accelerator initiative. Alain also serves as a Member-at-Large on the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Committee on Sustainability. Prior to joining Schneider Alain spent time in the fields of management consulting and operations management in the industrials space. Alain holds an MBA from the University of Michigan – Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University with a Minor in Environmental Engineering.
