Chris Meister has served as Executive Director of the Illinois Finance Authority (“IFA”), since 2009. He has overseen the presentation, approval, and closing of public finance transactions and helped spur economic development across Illinois. In 2021, IFA was designated as the Climate Bank for the state of Illinois. Under Meister's leadership, the Illinois Climate Bank has won more than $450M in congressionally approved and lawfully awarded federal funding for clean energy projects.
