I lead construction environmental consenting for Sizewell C, providing leadership across, regulatory engagement, construction permitting and environmental management. Over the last 20 years, I have built and led the development of environmental management arrangements and delivery of permits across the Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C projects, with particular focus on water discharge and resources, flood risk, combustion activity and waste. A core part of this leadership has been establishing effective relationships and ways of working with regulators, creating the conditions for clearer expectations, more constructive dialogue and better delivery outcomes.

This leadership experience has positioned me to play a central role in the Lead Environmental Regulator pilot for Sizewell C. I bring practical insight from securing approximately 120 project permits over recent years, together with the wider operational and decommissioning experience gained earlier in my nuclear career as an environmental co-ordinator.
