Elizabeth Ortiz is an Associate Director of Sustainable Investing in Private Markets at Aviva Investors. She leads sustainability strategy across climate infrastructure, venture capital and natural capital strategies in the UK and EU, supporting investment decision‑making, fund strategy and regulatory positioning. Elizabeth has deep expertise in ESG and impact due diligence, portfolio stewardship, and SFDR and TCFD disclosures, working closely with investment, risk, and legal teams. Her work focuses on integrating sustainability considerations into long‑term value creation, with particular interest in climate risk, policy alignment, and the scalability of real‑economy transition solutions.

Elizabeth holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Chicago, an MSc in Climate Change and Policy from King’s College London, and a Certificate in Global Banking and Finance from King’s Business School.
