Filip Formalik is a Research Assistant Professor at the Paula M. Trienens Institute for Sustainability and Energy at Northwestern University, where he contributes to the Capture Pillar. His work focuses on the capture of molecules from diverse sources—including CO₂, water vapor, and methane—using advanced porous materials. Filip's research leverages molecular simulations to understand and optimize these materials for sustainable applications. He collaborates closely with experimental teams to translate fundamental insights into scalable technologies that advance energy transition.
