Paul leads the Burns & McDonnell National Mitigation Bank team and is responsible for identifying and implementing large-scale restoration efforts. The team works within the U.S. regulatory framework to successfully manage the implementation of complex conservation and restoration projects to achieve a range of terrestrial and aquatic restoration objectives, resulting in specific regulatory offsets and broader nature positive outcomes. Project considerations include property identification, negotiation and acquisition; budget and timelines; biological constraints and engineering; and long-term management strategies. Paul has spearheaded several thousand hectares of offsets with a market value greater than $100M USD across the United States.
