Speakers

Rhiana Barkie comes to the Sustainability Delivery Summit with over 8 years of experience in community and economic development, environmental justice, and natural resource management. Her prior work includes 5 and a half years with the City of Indianapolis Brownfield Redevelopment Program, in which she oversaw the successful implementation of multiple EPA Brownfields grants, assisted in the development of a local Brownfield workshop, spoke at the 2022 National Brownfields Conference, and more. Ms. Barkie currently serves as the project coordinator for Clallam County's Dungeness Off-Channel Reservoir project--a multi-benefit, nature-based water management tool. Always curious, she holds certifications in Wilderness First Aid, Basic Wetland Delineation, and the CirqFit Lyra Teacher Training, and spends her free time dancing, hiking, and learning foreign languages.
